The Greek Flame Taverna was established in 2014 by Stefanos and Helmut.

 

Stefanos lived in Leros in Greece before moving to the U.K and continuing work in the hospitality industry. Well known for his love, passion and skill in the kitchen Stephanos devised the perfect Greek Taverna menu, cooked to original Greek recipes that have been handed down from generation to generation but still cooked to the same perfection that locals have grown to love time after time, visit after visit.

In 2021, 2022 and 2023 we were awarded the Trip Advisor Travellers Award for consistently remaining in the top 10 of restaurants in the local area and by receiving consistent high star reviews.

Today, we are always striving to ensure each customer has the quality dining experience they deserve. We are continuously updating the service, menus and decor to meet the expected set standard.

We are proud to of come out the other side of the Pandemic and still be providing the community with authentic greek food. We have a wide range of traditional Greek food and drinks to choose from, from the classic Houmous and Pitta, Gyros and Moussaka to aromatic Stifado, all finished with a sweet Backlave and washed down with a shot of imported Greek Ouzo.
